APICCAPS and the Portuguese Footwear Technology Centre (CTCP) are in the final stage of implementing the BioShoes4All project, developed under the Bioeconomy line of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
Structured around five main pillars — Biomaterials, Ecological Footwear, Circular Economy, Advanced Production Technologies, and Training and Promotion — the project has brought together more than 70 partners over three years, representing a total investment of around 70 million euros, the largest ever made in the history of the Portuguese footwear industry.
Through this initiative, APICCAPS and CTCP aim to strengthen a resilient national production base, focusing on innovation, differentiation, and responsiveness as key pillars of the sector’s competitiveness.
Within this context, on October 16, starting at 9:00 a.m., at the Leixões Cruise Terminal, the Grand Conference “BioShoes4All: The Final Step” will take place, according to the attached program, where the project’s main results will be presented.
Topics such as recycling, future materials, and traceability will be in focus, accompanied by an exhibition of new products now entering the market.
For all these reasons, we are honored to invite you to join us for this event.
We kindly ask you to confirm your attendance by email at: claudiapinto@apiccaps.pt
