In today’s episode of the CTCP Podcast, developed within the scope of the BioShoes4All project, we had the privilege of speaking with Ana Maria Vasconcelos, General Director of the Commercial and Production Department at Belcinto. In this conversation, we explored in greater detail the company’s history, its values, and the vision that drives its actions.
Belcinto, a family-owned company founded in 1961, began its journey with the artisanal production of leather belts. Over time, it expanded its portfolio to include a variety of products, such as travel bags, wallets, hats, handbags, and women’s accessories. This evolution reflects Belcinto’s ability to adapt to market needs and remain relevant over the decades.
Today, Belcinto is recognized as a brand of excellence in leather goods manufacturing. However, keeping tradition alive while striving to innovate is a constant challenge for the company. Ana Maria advocates for the concept of “sustainable production with a lifetime guarantee.” For this leader, product quality and durability are inseparable from environmental responsibility. In this way, Belcinto is committed not only to creating exceptional leather goods but also to practices that respect the planet and future generations.
